We were born to play together. Just ask any of us. We’ll tell you that, without a doubt, God made us to play music with each other. We’re a motley crew. Under typical social circumstances our paths would have never converged. Some of us have lived in the same neighborhood for years, a street apart, yet we never met. We’re from different backgrounds and different spiritual experiences, therefore, we never attended the same church together - if we attended at all. Some of us met through 12-step recovery groups. We even have a father and son paired together . But until April, 2006, we were not acquainted as a group. We were unaware that the idea of us was born in the heart of one man 19 years earlier when most of us were children.
